Mariah Plaza

Mariah is Elevate’s Program Manager. She earned two associate’s degrees from De Anza College and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University. Before her role as Program Coordinator, she spent six years working in recreation at the City of Morgan Hill. She is passionate about child advocacy, and in the next five years, Mariah sees herself in an Occupational Therapy Doctorate program where she will eventually specialize in Pediatrics. Mariah is excited to join Elevate, where she will support Tutor Fellows during their academic journey and as they develop skills that will help them thrive independently and lifelong. During her free time, she loves spending time with her family, traveling to new places, trying new restaurants, and watching the Warriors and the 49ers.
