What we do
Elevate's Fellowship Program is a part-time, 18-month fellowship program for low-income and first-generation undergraduate students. Through volunteerism, as well as high-impact training and support, we help our fellows persevere through college and launch into a successful career. Along the way, our fellows pay-it-forward by supporting underserved K-12 students in their communities.
We recruit low-income and first-generation college students to become near-peer tutors and role models for K-12 students in need.
We provide each Tutor Fellow with training, work experience, professional development, and a $7,500 college scholarship.
We help close the K-12 achievement gap by providing more than 5,000 hours per year of free STEM tutoring to underserved schools,
“Your tutors are the best... we'd like to fill as many classes as possible with Elevate tutors."
